Here's a recipe for making Samboosa (like Indian Samosa), spoken in Saudi/Hijazi Arabic with English transcripts.
Are the birds of your stomach singing?
Is the fridge empty and you can't find food at home?
Do you regret the food you've thrown away last night?
Next time put the extra food in the freezer.
And consider it a quick, easy meal for a day when you're busy.
Anyway, forget about yesterday's food and lets talk about today.
Because today we're starting 'Samboosa'.
Preparation time: 45 minutes and the recipe is Medium
Using the wheat flour means that you benefit from a healthy recipe and from full fiber.
Mix and wait
Leave the dough in a warm place to rise up quickly.
Use a cup or bowl to cut the dough into small circles.
Vegetables decorate the food with their colors and are useful to the body with their rich nutrients.
The Crescent shape is considered to be the most famous shape of the 'Samboosa'.
Brush the 'Samboosa' with the egg's yoke so the sesame can stick on it.
One of the reasons for insomnia is a lack of Magnesium which is what sesame is rich with. Half a cup of sesame seeds can provide you with 63% of the needed amount of magnesium in a day.
The fried 'Samboosa' might look innocent but every 4 pieces contain 1/3 of the needed calories in a day.
4 cups of wheat flour
2 ½ cups of warm water
3 tablespoons of instant yeast +1 teaspoon of salt
For the filling:
